This capstone course integrates all knowledge acquired in the Business Analytics program into a complete business analytics project. Working in teams with real companies or real business datasets, students experience the full workflow of a business analyst from problem definition, data acquisition, cleaning, exploratory analysis, and modeling to presenting solutions. The course emphasizes communication, teamwork, and business thinking, with final evaluation through project presentations and reports.

Complete a full-cycle customer churn analysis project for a real enterprise in teams. Start with business problem framing, defining churn and analysis objectives. Acquire and integrate multi-source customer data including profiles, transactions, service usage, and customer service interactions. Perform data cleaning and feature engineering. Build machine learning churn prediction models, evaluate performance, and conduct model interpretation. Develop a churn early warning system and design segmented retention strategies. Create an interactive dashboard, present to stakeholders, and submit a complete analysis report and codebase.
