This introductory course provides a comprehensive overview of fundamental concepts, theoretical frameworks, and practical areas of international business. Topics include globalization and the international business environment, international trade and investment theories, multinational corporation strategy, market entry modes, and cross-cultural management. Through real-world case studies, students develop a global perspective and cross-cultural thinking skills.

学生选择一家知名跨国企业,分析其进入某一新兴市场的战略决策。报告内容包括:目标国家商业环境评估(政治、经济、文化、法律)、行业竞争格局分析、市场进入模式比较与选择、本土化策略建议,以及潜在风险与应对措施。期末进行小组汇报,模拟向公司董事会提交战略建议。

Students select a well-known multinational enterprise and analyze its strategic decision to enter an emerging market. The report includes assessment of the target country's business environment (political, economic, cultural, legal), industry competitive landscape, comparison and selection of market entry modes, localization strategy recommendations, and potential risks with countermeasures.
