Usability Evaluation systematically introduces theories, metrics, and methods for assessing system usability. Topics include expert evaluation methods such as heuristic evaluation and cognitive walkthrough, user testing including lab, remote, and eye-tracking studies, subjective scales such as SUS and NASA-TLX, and data analysis techniques. Students learn to choose appropriate methods and measure usability dimensions scientifically.
学生需选定一款真实产品,制定可用性测试方案,招募6至8位目标用户完成3个核心任务的实验室测试,记录任务完成率、时间、出错率与主观满意度,并辅以启发式评估交叉验证,最终输出含问题清单、严重度评级与改进方案的可用性评估报告。
Students select a real product, design a usability test plan, recruit 6 to 8 target users for lab-based testing on 3 core tasks, record task completion rate, time, error rate, and subjective satisfaction, cross-validate with heuristic evaluation, and produce a usability report with problem lists, severity ratings, and improvement recommendations.
