OCR A-Level Mathematics A (H240) is a linear two-year course assessed by three written papers at the end of Year 13. OCR A-Level has moved to a linear structure since 2015, so all exams are taken at the end of the course. The specification integrates Pure mathematics with two applied strands, Mechanics and Statistics, and is underpinned by three overarching themes: mathematical argument and proof, problem solving, and mathematical modelling. A core subject for mathematics, engineering, physics, economics and computer science applicants.
