本课程是设计专业的入门核心课程，系统介绍设计的基本概念、原理与方法。课程内容涵盖平面构成、色彩构成、立体构成三大构成体系，以及设计思维、视觉语言、形式美法则等基础理论。通过大量的 hands-on 练习和项目实践，培养学生的观察力、想象力和造型能力，建立对设计的整体认知。课程强调理论与实践结合，引导学生从多个维度理解设计的本质，为后续专业课程学习奠定坚实基础。
This foundational core course introduces the basic concepts, principles, and methods of design. The curriculum covers the three major composition systems: planar composition, color composition, and three-dimensional composition, as well as design thinking, visual language, and formal beauty principles. Through extensive hands-on exercises and projects, students develop observation, imagination, and form-building skills while establishing a holistic understanding of design. The course emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, guiding students to understand the essence of design from multiple dimensions and laying a solid foundation for subsequent specialized courses.
学生需以"城市印象"为主题，完成一组综合构成设计，包含平面构成、色彩构成和立体构成三个部分。平面构成部分采用点线面元素抽象表达城市特征，色彩构成部分建立专属的城市色彩体系，立体构成部分制作可展示的三维模型。要求三个部分在概念和视觉上形成统一整体，体现对形式美法则的理解和运用。需提交设计说明文档，阐述创意来源、设计思路和实现过程。
Students create a comprehensive composition design on the theme of "City Impression," consisting of three parts: planar composition, color composition, and three-dimensional composition. The planar composition uses point, line, and plane elements to abstractly express urban characteristics; the color composition establishes a dedicated city color system; the three-dimensional composition produces a displayable 3D model. The three parts must form a unified whole conceptually and visually, demonstrating understanding and application of formal beauty principles. A design statement document explains the creative sources, design approach, and implementation process.
