This foundational core course develops students' observational skills and hand-drawing techniques. Topics include line work, value relationships, perspective principles, composition rules, and texture rendering. Through progressive exercises in still life, plaster cast, and landscape drawing, students build solid representational abilities. The course emphasizes eye-hand coordination, guiding students from objective observation to subjective expression, establishing a strong visual foundation.
学生需完成一组5幅人体素描系列作品，包括站姿、坐姿、卧姿等不同动态，每幅尺寸不小于全开。要求运用炭笔、铅笔等多种媒介，准确表现人体比例、骨骼肌肉结构与动态韵律。作品需体现对明暗层次、空间透视和质感表现的理解，并附创作说明阐述个人观察视角与表现意图。通过系列作品展示学期内的技术进步与艺术思考。
Students create a series of five life drawings featuring standing, seated, and reclining poses, each at full scale. Using charcoal, graphite, and other media, students must accurately depict human proportions, skeletal and muscular structure, and rhythmic movement. The work should demonstrate understanding of value gradients, spatial perspective, and texture, accompanied by an artist statement.
