This course studies the chemical basis of biological composition and life activities, including protein structure and function, enzymology, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, nucleic acid chemistry, bioenergetics, and signal transduction. Students will master basic biochemical principles and experimental techniques, providing the necessary chemical foundation.
