This introductory course provides a systematic overview of fundamental management concepts, theoretical frameworks, and core functions. Topics include the four functions of management—planning, organizing, leading, and controlling—along with the evolution of management thought, environmental analysis, decision-making theory, organizational structure design, and motivation theories. Through classic case studies and group discussions, students develop a systematic management thinking framework.
学生分组选择一家知名企业,运用课程所学的管理四大职能框架进行全面分析。内容包括:企业战略计划体系分析、组织结构与部门设计评估、领导风格与管理模式研究、控制系统与绩效评价机制分析。学生需识别企业管理中的优势与问题,提出具体的改进建议,并以正式报告形式提交,期末进行小组汇报展示。
Student teams select a well-known company and conduct a comprehensive analysis using the four functions of management framework. The report includes analysis of strategic planning systems, evaluation of organizational structure and department design, study of leadership styles and management models, and analysis of control systems and performance evaluation mechanisms. Teams present their findings at the end of the semester.
