This introductory course provides a comprehensive overview of supply chain management fundamentals. Topics include the five core supply chain functions: procurement, production, inventory, logistics, and sales, along with strategic fit, demand forecasting, and supplier relationship management. Through case studies and group discussions, students develop a holistic understanding of supply chain's role in competitive advantage and build a foundation for advanced coursework.
学生以小组为单位,选择一家知名企业(如苹果、亚马逊、京东等),深入研究其供应链运作模式。分析内容包括供应链结构设计、核心竞争力、面临的主要挑战以及近年来的重要变革。要求绘制供应链流程图,识别关键节点,并提出至少两条优化建议。最终提交一份3000字的分析报告并进行课堂展示。
Student teams select a well-known company and conduct an in-depth analysis of its supply chain operations. The report should cover supply chain structure, core competencies, major challenges, and recent transformations. Teams must create a supply chain flow diagram, identify key nodes, and propose at least two optimization recommendations. A 3000-word report and class presentation are required.
