Inclusive Education

This course explores the theoretical foundations, international development, and practical strategies of inclusive education. Topics include concepts and values of inclusion, historical evolution from segregation to integration, legal and policy support, inclusive school practice models, co-teaching and team collaboration, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiated instruction, peer support strategies, and school culture development. Students examine international experiences, analyze implementation challenges, and develop values centered on respect for diversity and full participation.
学生需选择一所普通学校(真实或模拟),设计一份全纳教育推进方案。方案内容包括:学校现状分析(学生多样性、现有支持资源、教师专业能力等)、全纳教育的愿景与目标、具体改进措施(课程调整策略、教学方法改进、支持体系建设、教师专业发展计划、家校合作机制、校园文化建设等)、资源需求与时间规划、以及成效评估指标。要求结合全纳教育理论,提出切实可行的改进路径,体现对全体学生教育需求的关注。
Students will select a regular school (real or simulated) and design a school improvement plan for inclusive education. The plan should include current state analysis (student diversity, existing support resources, teacher capacity), vision and goals, specific improvement measures (curriculum adaptation, instructional strategies, support systems, professional development, home-school collaboration, school culture), resource requirements and timeline, and evaluation indicators. Evidence-based strategies and practical implementation pathways that address all students' needs are required.
