耶鲁补充文书包含短答与长文书，重在展示思想深度、社群参与与对 Yale 的具体兴趣。短答要精炼有力，长文书要有叙事弧线。

Yale uses short-answer questions (35-125 words) and one longer essay (~250 words). The short answers reward precision and personality; the longer essay rewards narrative depth. Treat the short answers as polished fragments, not drafts.
