OCR A-Level Chemistry A (H432) is a linear two-year course assessed by three written papers at the end of Year 13, plus a teacher-assessed practical endorsement. OCR A-Level has moved to a linear structure since 2015, so all exams are taken at the end of the course. It is organised into six modules spanning foundations, the periodic table and energy, core organic chemistry, physical chemistry, the transition elements, and organic chemistry and analysis. A core subject for chemistry, medicine, chemical engineering, pharmacy and biosciences applicants.
