IB 物理
IB Diploma · Physics HL/SL
IB 物理分 HL 与 SL,覆盖力学、电磁、量子等核心主题,IA 占 20%。
IB Physics is a two-year secondary physics course offered by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), available at both Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL). The course covers measurements and uncertainties, mechanics, thermal physics, waves, electricity and magnetism, circular motion and gravitation, atomic nuclear and particle physics, and energy production. HL extends into wave phenomena, fields, electromagnetic induction, and quantum and nuclear physics, plus one Option chosen from engineering physics, astrophysics, imaging or relativity. It emphasizes experimental inquiry, data analysis, and scientific thinking — a key subject for engineering, physics, and CS applicants.

The IB Physics IA is an individual experimental investigation worth 20% of the final grade. Students formulate a research question, design and conduct an experiment, analyze data, and produce a 6-12 page report (~10 hours of work). Assessment criteria cover personal engagement, exploration, analysis, evaluation, and communication. Topics may come from any part of the syllabus and real-world contexts are encouraged.
