Students select two countries and conduct a systematic comparative analysis on a specific political topic (such as the relationship between electoral systems and party systems, welfare regimes and political culture, or paths to democratization). The paper should establish a clear comparative framework, apply relevant theories, analyze similarities and differences and their causes, and draw academically meaningful conclusions. Approximately 2000 words with specific data and case evidence from both countries.
