This course systematically introduces major sociological theoretical traditions and contemporary developments. Starting with classical theorists Marx, Durkheim, and Weber, it explores functionalism, conflict theory, symbolic interactionism, social exchange theory, and extends to structuralism, postmodernism, and feminism. The course emphasizes applying theoretical perspectives to analyze social issues and develop critical thinking.
