本课程运用社会学理论与方法分析城市现象与都市生活。从城市的起源与发展出发，探讨城市化进程、城市空间结构、社区与邻里、城市移民、城中村与贫民窟、城市治理、全球化与世界城市等议题。课程结合中国城市发展的现实经验，引导学生理解城市作为社会空间的意义，以及城市生活如何塑造社会关系与个体经验。

This course applies sociological theory and methods to analyze urban phenomena and city life. Covering urban origins, urbanization processes, spatial structure, communities and neighborhoods, urban migration, informal settlements, urban governance, and global cities, it combines Chinese urban experiences to help students understand cities as social spaces shaping social relations and individual experiences.

大作业 Final Project

作业标题：城市社区田野调查报告

选择一个城市社区（如老旧小区、商品房社区、城中村、大学周边社区等），进行实地观察与访谈，撰写一份2500字的田野调查报告。内容需涵盖社区的空间特征、人口结构、社会互动、社区组织与治理等方面，分析该社区的社会生态与居民日常生活的特征。

Select an urban community and conduct field observation and interviews, writing a 2500-word ethnographic report. Cover spatial characteristics, demographic structure, social interaction, community organization, and governance, analyzing the community's social ecology and residents' daily life patterns.
